1970 Fender Coronado II Wildwood
Fender’s Wildwood guitars were built from died beech trees, which gave them a bizarre yet strangely beautiful look. Ours is particularly striking with its greenish blue hues. This Coronado II example features a fully hollow body with a pair of DeArmond pickups. Combined you get an open, woody set of tones that goes splendidly with the unique visual character of this guitar.
This guitar is in very good condition. The guitar shows light finish swirling throughout. There is a dull spot of clear coat on the back of the body. The finish has started to decay around the top binding near the jack, and most of the back binding has started to discolor. No dings, dents, loose binding, etc. Hardware shows light wear. Frets and fretboard are in great shape.
