2013 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1959 Reissue

Here’s a very nice R9 that just came into the shop. 2013 was a big year for Gibson and for the Reissue Les Pauls- many changes occurred that made these guitars much closer to their vintage counterparts. For example,

• One piece rosewood fretboard (2012 R9’s had a two piece laminate fretboard)
• Real celluloid fretboard inlays
• Hide Glue neck joint
• Vintage accurate truss rod with no sleeve
• Custom Bucker pickups
• Cherry Aniline Dyed Pore Filler
• Royalite Binding
• Single Line Kluson Tuners

This guitar has all of your standard R9 features. The electronics are all original and unchanged.

The guitar is in very good condition. There are a few scratches in the waist by the pickguard bracket. There are a few dings by the bridge tone knob. There is some worming on the back of the guitar, presumably from shirt buttons or a small belt buckle. Some worming can be seen on the back of the neck in the cowboy chord area. The case shows a few scratches on the top of the lid.

Comes with OHSC, COA and all paperwork.
