The guitar shows normal play wear for a 67 year old guitar. The finish has checked on the top, back, and sides. There are dings and buckle rash on the back. The neck and headstock show no checking, but moderate scratching, dings and dents. The bass side headstock wing has separated a bit, which is common, not a structural issue. Below the bridge, there is a spot worn down to the spruce, which we assume is from the previous owner’s picking hand. The pickguard has curled a bit and begun to lift.
*At some point in time, someone “glued” the bass side X brace back to the top. We’ve included pictures so you can see it for yourself. Not what we would have done, but the guitar still sounds amazing.
