Description

In 1992, the first Fender Custom Shop series of instruments was released. The Set-Neck series, a few Artist models, and the Custom Classic series were the first instruments offered by the Custom Shop. The Custom Classics were described by Fender as “classic renditions of the legendary instruments that laid the groundwork for the sound, feel, and urgency of rock and roll today.” The Custom Classic series consisted of the American Classic, 1954 Reissue, and 1960 reissues. This guitar is from the 1960 Reissue series, with quilted maple top and gold hardware. This series production was limited to 22 sets. sales started with SN 002. so only 21 sets were ever sold. *specs are the same for both guitars*

TELECASTER – This guitar was owned by a Fender Brand Representative. He was not a guitar player. The guitar shows finish swirling throughout. There is a small impression above the pickguard on the upper bout. There are a few light scratches and pin-prick dings on the back of the guitar.
